Briony's Story

Where to start...

Hello, I am Briony and founder of StudioBMR.

I suppose this all started from an extremely young age. I loved to paint and draw and just making anything crafty really!

When I was 7 years old I became extremely unwell. I was on bed rest for a number of months and suffered extremely badly with fatuigue. Even though it is no where near as bad now, with stress comes symptoms. So, I have curated a lifestyle that I thoroughly love with as little stress as possible.

Art has always been an escape for me and I have experienced first hand the Mental benefits of surrounding myself with Contemporary Art and Interiors.

Careful Interior styling for the individual can have a HUGE positive mentally effect on your day to day. This is something I am SUPER passionate about! And something I tell my clients consistently.

After graduating in Fine Art at Loughborough University, I worked in a few jobs to find my feet. Still selling my Art on the side, I gain so much valuable experience which carried me through to today. I think it was about 2 years into working life that I realised, I didn't want my Art to be a side feature. So, I quit my job and pursued a career as an Artist and Stylist.

Now, 12 years of selling my Art and 5 years of StudioBMR later, My style and services have definitely fine tuned. I'm constantly learning who I am and how I want to help my clients.

My work currently generally has two sides. My custom Art and my Interior Styling Service.

Custom Art

With my Art, I belive not one size fits all. This is why I offer a bespoke service to create the perfect piece for my client's spaces. From clinics and Beauty studios, to beautiful homes. Whatever colours, visuals and framing needed, we can create it together. Interiors should be curated for the individuals enjoying it.

Interior Styling

My Interior styling service is for clients that need help making their home feel just right. Creating a space that boasts the exact ambience you want without completely restructuring and rebuilding the whole house.
